Ingredients

  • 46 fresh okra pods

  • 12 cups filtered water

Optional Add-ins:

  • 2 lemon slices

  • 23 slices fresh ginger

  • 34 mint leaves

  • 3 cucumber slices

  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash okra pods thoroughly.

  • Trim off the ends and slice each pod lengthwise.

  • Add okra to a clean glass jar or bottle.

  • Pour in 1–2 cups of filtered water.

  • Cover and let soak overnight (8–12 hours) in the fridge or at room temperature.

  • In the morning, remove the okra and stir the infused water.

  • Optional: Add lemon, ginger, or mint for added flavor.
