1 lb chicken tenders (or chicken breasts sliced into strips)
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ cup regular breadcrumbs
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Whisk the egg and milk in a shallow bowl.
Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
Dip each chicken tender into the egg wash, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with oil.
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
For extra crispiness, double-dip tenders in egg and breadcrumbs.
Add cayenne for a spicy kick.
These freeze well—cook from frozen with 2–3 extra minutes.
Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes.
