2 ¾ cups flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
Cinnamon-sugar (for rolling)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix dry ingredients (flour, cream of tartar, baking soda) in one bowl, then cream butter and sugar in another.
Add eggs to the butter mixture and combine with dry ingredients.
Roll dough into balls and coat in cinnamon-sugar.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden.
Make sure not to overbake for the best chewy texture. You can use cookie cutters to create fun shapes
